Paris Awinja is currently sponsored by David and Kayla from Destin, FL. Thank you David and Kayla.

UPDATE: This little cutie has done amazingly well at Seed's. She's super sharp and is loving the 3rd grade. With the help of our partners at Seed's, she is thriving and enjoying all her "siblings". Her smile never stops and she's a bit of a tease. We love the transformation that we've seen since she's come into our Mighty Acorn family. We're looking for a new sponsor for Paris. It would be great if there was a family that would send letters and family photos to her - connecting with her and letting her know how special she is. Are you that person or is it your family? You'll help change her life forever, as she'll be able to continue through our program and well cared for at Seed's. If it's you - click the sponsor button and follow the prompts. You'll be making a difference.

Paris, what a smile. She's the twin sister to Meshark and part of a family with eleven children. She has an older sister, Selvine, who has been living in the children’s home for the past five years. Now Paris along with her twin brother and two other of Selvine's siblings need our help. Some time ago, their father left their mother due to the pressure of taking care of such a large family. Which left her to care for everyone on her own. She would spend all day in the forest collecting firewood to sell, only earning pennies for her long day of work. It was never enough to clothe, feed, or send her children to school. She recently has lost hope and has turned to a life of begging leaving her children to fend for themselves most days. They have not attended school for some time now and desperately wish to be able to learn and be in a safe environment. Their clothes are tattered and torn, seem to not have been able to shower in weeks, and their stomachs are empty. Their need has been brought to MAF to help. To find them a sponsoring family that is able to provide support. Your financial support will allow our partners to bring them into Seed's Children's Home with Selvine. Your love and connection with them which we will try and help cultivate will begin to restore her soul. Can you help us meet those needs as well as send her to school? Together we can change Paris' life forever and help destroy the cycle of poverty for her... and all of Kenya to end one child at a time?
