UPDATE: This guy!!! We're so proud and thankful for the transformation made in his life. He's now 16 years old and in the 6th grade. It might seem like he should be entering high school, but this young man started way behind his piers when it came to his education. Coming to Seed's opened that door for him and he is doing is best to take advantage of it. He loves soccer and his life at the children's home. He's come through so much healing, the transformation is amazing! We're now looking for a new sponsor to help him continue through our MAF program and have every chance to be all God intended. Would you consider sponsoring the brave young guy? Help him thrive and succeed!

ORIGINAL STORY: Those eyes say a whole lot about an 8 year old boy who has already suffered more in this life than he should. Mark has had to grow up way to fast. He lost his father 3 years ago and now his mom is very sick with HIV AIDS. He has had to step up and help where he can, hunting and begging for food to feed  himself and his two younger sisters. Someone contacted our partners informing them of the children's situation.  What they found was a desperate situation requiring them to take Mark and his sisters into the Seed's Children's Home immediately - without the commitment of a sponsor for each. They knew there was not time for the formal request and confirmation of a sponsor - so when they shared the story we knew Mighty Acorn needed to step in and help these children begin a new life of hope.

Would you be willing to sponsor Mark, this strong, resilient young boy? He really needs someone to come along side him as he goes through these major life changes... sending him letters of encouragement, just letting him know he matters.
