UPDATED STORY:  Agnes is in 8th grade and loves studying agriculture!  When she grows up she dreams of becoming a musician. In her free time she loves playing the piano, anything involving music, and reading. Being at Seeds with her siblings has given her the opportunity for a good education, and taught her to have a strong faith! When asked about her sponsor she got the biggest smile on her face and said she is so thankful for the support! Right now we are looking for a new sponsor for Agnes. Would you be willing to step in and become her sponsor? It would mean the world to her and you will quickly become part of her family!

ORIGINAL STORY: Meet little Agnes, or Aggie as they call her. She's just 3 years old and the youngest sister to Mark and Cynthia.

Our partners from Seed's Children's Home were contacted by someone that was really concerned about her and her siblings. She lost his father 3 years ago, most likely before she was born and now her mom is very sick with HIV AIDS. Aggie had been begging food from the neighbors because her mom was unable to feed her, and her 8 year old brother Mark was doing the best he could - but she was always hungry.

When our partners met the children and their mom it was obvious they needed to act right away, there was not time for the formal request and confirmation of a sponsor. Aggie and her siblings needed to go to the Children's Home now. Their's is one of those emergency situations that we at Mighty Acorn try to make ourselves available for, committing to find a sponsor in these special situations when time won't allow for the child to wait and they need immediate help.

So, Aggie is in a safe place - now we need to find her a sponsor. Someone to connect with her, to send her little notes, let her know she is loved by a family that thinks she's special. Would you be willing to sponsor her,  sending her letters of encouragement, just letting her know she matters.
