Sislia is one of three sisters living in the Kipsongo Slums with her grandmother. Although Sislia describes life as being "good" while their father was alive, the passing of her father has made life very difficult for her and her sisters. Neither she nor her grandmother know where her mother is. Daily life is now a tremendous struggle as they have little money for food and clothing. She arrived to her interview with dirty, bare feet. Sislia dreams of being a teacher someday. Her favorite subject is math and this adorable ten year old dreams of going to college someday.
