Harriet is four years old and the sister of Everline and Metrine. She tells us that she would like to be a teacher some day even though she has not yet attended school. She is a giggly little four year old and seems to be as happy as can be despite the terrible conditions in which she lives. With no surviving parents, she and her two sisters live with their grandmother and are lucky to get one meal per day. She quitely whispers to herself during the interview as her eyes wander around the room. We later learned that the whispers are actually a song and that she loves to sing at church.
