UPDATE: Dolfine has changed her name to Rose and we think that's awesome! Her life has totally changed, she's gone from such a dark place to a life filled with joy and love. She loves learning and is doing great in high school. Rose has a very caring heart, always looking out for the younger ones. When we come to devotions, she'll often lead out in song, what a sweet voice she has. We love this girl and are so thankful to be a part of her story of rescue and restoration. We are now in need of a new sponsor for Rose. Will you step in and become another part of her story? You'll love getting to know her through letters and video chats when we have interns in country. Please say yes to walking alongside her as she finishes high school and heads to college.

ORIGINAL STORY: Hmm - precious little Dolifine, at 8 years old her life has been recently torn apart by tragedy. She and her 5 brothers were doing well, with both parents caring for them. Living in a small one room home with a thatched roof and a small patch of banana trees planted outside. Her dad had worked hard so they could own this 500 sq ft piece of land and he kept working hard to support his family... until one horrible day - he lost his life at the hands of a neighbor. His death sent her mom into shock to the point of her being unresponsive to her children and friends. Dolifine not only lost her dad that day but her mom as well.

It's been 6 very difficult months since then, food has been very scarce, her clothes look like they haven't been cleaned for at least that long, she has no shoes on her feet - but somehow she still has a smile on her face.

We so want to help restore this little one to a life of hope and safety, where she doesn't have to wonder if she will have food to eat, clean water to drink and she can go to school. We would love to find her a sponsor that will love her through letters and help the healing begin. She just needs a little encouragement along with being at the Seed's Children's Home. Can you help her - would you be willing to connect with her?
