UPDATED STORY:  Stacy is now in grade 11 and has big dreams of being a director of criminal investigations. She says that she wants to fight corruption and bring justice. In her free time you can find her reading. SEEDS has given her a good life, including basic necessities that were not given before she came. Stacy is grateful to Momma Hellen for providing what her parents could not. Her original sponsor always brought a smile to her face. Bringing her encouragement and value which has encouraged her to work hard. Stacy's first sponsor had a life change and is no longer able to sponsor her, so she is in need of a new sponsor. This is one special young lady, and she has so much promise as she moves into her future. Would you sponsor her, come alongside and be her new encourager? Your life will be richer for it.

ORIGINAL STORY: Precious little Stacy, just a glimpse of that cute little smile will warm your heart. She only 5 years old and lives in the slums of Kipsongo. It's a tough place to grow up and for Stacy it has just gotten a little tougher. Her mom recently passed away, we're not sure how but we do know that her father abandoned the family when she was very small so she really has no one left that can care for her. Right now she is living with her grandmother but that is not a good long-term situation. There's a bit of sadness on her face as she shares, the loss of her mom is still so fresh.

When we asked if she would like to come to the children's home she perked up and that cute smile came back oh yes she would love to come live at the children's home and be with her friend Caren. She also shared she loves the color red and thinks she would like to be a doctor when she grows up.

Stacy needs us to step in and help her, she is way to young to try and survive in the slum with just the help of her elderly grandmother.

Will you help her? Will you come along side her and sponsor her, sending her letters of encouragement and letting her know she's not alone that there are others out there the believe in her that will help her not just survive but thrive!

Built on love and hope.
