Faith, gotta love that smile she's 7 years old, and the twin sister to Mercy. Just like Mercy she loves the color red but instead of being a teacher she wants to be a doctor one day.
Life for the twins has taken a really bad turn they live very deep inside the slum in a mud hut with a dirt floor so life has always been hard that area of the slum is too dangerous for our partners to even show us recently their father has become paralyzed from the waist down due to his advanced stage of Aids and he can no longer work. Friends have to carry him anywhere he needs to go so food has become a daily concern for the whole family. Many nights there just isn't enough to eat and they all go to bed hungry.
Our friends were contacted about the family's desparate situation and it was decided that all four of the children needed to be brought into the children's home. They have turned to MAF for help so we are looking for a sponsor for Faith (as well as her siblings). We want Faith to thrive, to no longer be concerned about basic needs like food and clothing and to know she can go to school and live in a safe place.
