ORIGINAL STORY: Carolyn is nine years old and is an only child. She has no living parents and stays with her grandmother. Her grandmother moved her to Uganda so Namulumba does not know much Swahili, but only her tribal language. She would like to come back to Kenya and attend Seeds Academy. She struggles in her current school mainly due to the hardships she faces in her life. She has little food and hardly any clothing to wear. She wants to pursue her studies and one day become a nurse.
